Why is my favicon not showing in Google?
Google needs a square icon of at least 48×48 px, linked from your home page and not blocked in robots.txt. It can take days or weeks for Google to update it after it recrawls your site.
Why does my browser still show the old favicon?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Try a hard refresh, open the page in a private window, or add a version to the link, for example /favicon.ico?v=2.
